Important: Meet the Candidates
The Cliffs Valley Community Association will host a Meet the Candidates event on Thursday, September 10, at 4:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for owners to meet the candidates running for the Cliffs Valley Community Association Board and hear directly from those seeking to serve the community.
There are two Board seats open for this year’s upcoming candidate election. We encourage all Valley Owners to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the candidates ahead of the election. The Cliffs Valley depends on qualified residents to serve on the Board. The roles are less time-consuming starting this year, as Carlton Property Managers has taken over as the community property managers and has assumed a significant portion of the work previously performed by Board members.
Upcoming CVCA Board Meetings
Please mark your calendars for the next three scheduled CVCA Board meetings.
Monday, August 24 — 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, September 23 — 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 28 — 3:30 p.m.

Did you know? -- A Little Valley History
Cliffs Valley was once a working cattle farm!
When golf architect Ben Wright designed the Valley golf course, he worked to preserve the natural character of the land, following its rolling terrain rather than extensively reshaping it.
The course officially opened in 1995, and the grand opening was quite an occasion. On October 2, 1995, PGA Tour champions Paul Azinger, Jim Colbert, Bob Murphy and Jay Haas played an inaugural exhibition round before a crowd of approximately 3,000 people. And what a way to begin: Paul Azinger eagled the very first hole!
More than 30 years later, much of the natural beauty Ben Wright sought to preserve is still part of what makes our Valley such a special place to call home.
